Okay so I'm updating even though I've said that I'm so lazy to update. So here goes... I LOVE. the NEW. Camera! :D well its the Canon Powershot SX110 IS, its the first semi-pro Camera I've got, and I'm already in love with the manual functions. Gosh. Where do I begin? Tell you what, I'll show you something I've done.

Its called, Light Graffiti. I learnt it on the net somewhere and now I'm doing it, because its really, really fun and the pictures turn out great! Well go check it out yo (:

it's just a little turbulence

Breaking Dawn is already out in stores. Have you bought your copy of Breaking Dawn yet? If not, GO NOW. I personally think that Twilight is still the best. The movie will be coming out in december and it might be rated NC16 because of the scene with James in the dance studio. So depressing for those who are underage and look underage to ticket-counter-people.

For all those who went for singfest, yayness for you. I simply cannot believe that Panic was on the same miniscule plot of land and I wasn't even within their peripheral vision. Do you know how devastating that is? Maybe not. But I do.

If you can't guess who i am, well, look into the past. I'm pretty ancient in that sense. I could be Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile for all we know. Or i could have been Isaac Newton. Or his wife. Or ex-girlfriend. Or mother. How proud i would have been of him.

YLTC 2008.

Day tree! (THREE)

we had to wash the girls toilet!
and guess what.
THE GUYS DID THE CLEANING AGAIN.
like so awesome.
we stepped into the girls toilet.
awesome possum.

after breakfast, we had a li'l while
before we had to do canoeing.
today was packed,
as we had 3 activities, due to the rain yesterday.
thanks to the rain, we missed internal nav.
or, wait, we completed ONE checkpoint (:

anyway! then we went for canoeing.
i was canoeing with Huiying!
me at back (COS I WAS HEAVIER AND FATTER)
and huiying at the front (cos she was skinnier and lighter)
haha! its okay to be the director person thing.
but it was fun. as in canoeing.
and i got sunburnt on my neck
because of canoeing!
but i personally feel canoeing is the best of all the activities!
and SEMANGAT did bloody well at canoeing.
Viva La Semangat! (:

after that we had River crossing.
everyone was freaked out by the water.
so naturally, i went first.
because i've done it before,
and i didn't think it was that gross.
but it found it (yucky)
cos the water was warm this time!
like last year, i did it when the water was cool.
which was awesome cos it was so refreshing (:

lastly, Internal navigation.
i was so tired for internal nav.
because i was walking the entire route
in
WATER DAMN BOOTIES.
it sucked okay,
cos the roads were so rocky,
and my feet hurt,
and had abrasions due the booties.
so it was like, i asked ziyi and mervyn to lead the rest.
while i rested and helped yang zhi cos he was injured.

after internal nav, we headed back to campsite! where it rained.. again.
heh. we were halfway to the last checkpoint when it rained.
then everyone chionged up the hill.
i stayed behind with xinyi dilys and melina
cos they were tired.
yang zhi went to the tent.
i was playing with the grass leaf to make sounds thing
teaching xinyi how to make the sounds when it started raining.
yangzhi and mr lee scrambled into our tent
while the rest of us ran up the hill.
i spent the next 2-3 hours running around in the rain
oh god i love the rain.

first, i got slippers for the girls.
lennon ivan and i ran down the hill.
with permission of course.
the super funny thing
was ivan was trying to the dive and slide on the grass
then i shouted at lennon
DAOPOKDAOPOKDAPOKAPDOKAOPDK
then lennon couldn't stop running cos of the hill and
we missed out opportunity!

then we took the slippers and everything and went back up.
to continue our tentwatching! :D
like, we were checking out
whos tent went down
and some tents, were located atop a river of mud (and water)
and the others just turned into swimming pools.

that night we had dinner in mud
and then a presentation.
before invaded by the flies!
well, i did the presentation.
and of course it was awesome anyway.
and like. i think it was ant mating season or something
the whole area was clouded with ants.

after supper.
i can say, that night was one of the most miserable days of my life.
my tent had space for 2 people.
Ziyi was sick, so he was up in the bunks.
Mervyn and I didn't have a space to sleep.
and Johnston only allowed 1 person to accompany ziyi.
okay we fixed up Fann's tent.
then we went up to like just sleep in the bunks,
cos our tent cannot make it.

we couldn't get in.
like totally.
flies just flew everywhere
attacking,
trying to get into our clothes.
coughing and gagging we ran away.
yeah. after walking aroudn some more, we tried again.
we went to the back door.
which was similarly infested.

opened the door, and was greeted,
by the sight of an infestation.
the ground was covered in fucking bugs.
and like, really fucking.
cos it was mating season anyway. :D

okay, then ziyi was crouched on one of the beds,
covered in a blanket covered in flies.
thank goodness he was sleeping.
if he wasn't, i'll be screaming like shit.

Mervyn and I had nowhere to sleep.
so we did our Fly adventures.
ran around, explored infested areas.
before coming up with a bright idea.
we pulled our shirts over our nose and
tied a towel around our head.
then we ran into the midst of the swarm
and stole a unused tent.

to our dismay, the tent had no poles.
so we got our sleeping bags from the other tent.
then we opened out new one.
put it flat on the floor.
it was flat, really, had no poles to make it stand.
so we just opened it and went in.

that night. was so miserable.
it was hot, and itchy and stuffy at first.
so stuffy i couldn't take it.
there were flies buzzing on my face.
my face covered by the mosquito net.
and yeah.

later on, it became wet and horrendously cold.
and yeah. i woke up again, and again, and again.
i can never, ever forget that night.

YLTC 2008.

it was au'some (:
and totally wacky.
and, YLTC proves the SJI dominance.

There were 3 clans.
Semangat, Berjaya, Yakin.
Supposedly meaning some spirit and some other bull(!!)

Clan chiefs were, in order
Me
Pengpeng
Lennon and Ivan (the gays!!)

and yeah. guess what.
Yakin and Semangat were the top 2.
(we're all SJI!)

Day WANTAN! (one)
met up at NJC at friggin 7am.
first time i woke up at 6 on a holiday man.
went there and sat down with the other ip1s.
i was totally dreading my job as a clan chief.
but yeah. it turned out fine in the end! (:

we walked down to the parade square from the atrium.
and sat in our respective clans.
while charis and i sorted out the tent groupings,
the rest were lazing around and
the coucillors were in a group talking about their own stuff.

then the teachers arrived,
and we conducted a bag check!
bag checks are the love.
because i hate packing my stuff back in all over again.
and smart me just stuffed everything into my bag again.
and my bag looked 3x as fat as it was.

Then it was time to go!
Sue-anne and i sat together on the bus.
and after like half and hour of talking.
i fell asleep.
so did sue-anne.
and almost everyone in the bus.
(accept the 2 bimbos sitting behind me.
heh, maxine and mollie! you're bimbos! face it :D)

okay anyway, when we reached the customs.
it was so cool cos this time i didn't have to take my bag down.
all i needed was my passport.

anyway! after going through so amazingly fast.
we were on our way to macap, then kluang.
after about 4 hours of sleeping
we reached macap.

actually there was food at the campsite later.
so i have no idea why some people ended up buying food.
ha! :D
so i bought some tea.
and started walking around the convenience stall
with huiying and sue-anne.
damn funny, cos we saw this super cute spongebob cushion.
and they wanted to buy it for me cos they found this
monkey soft toy in my bag! (!!)

and we were off to kluang.

at kluang! we arrived there and walked up the hill.
gosh standing at the top and looking down.
brings back so many memories.

okay anyway.
it was pretty aweshum to be back here.
and after sorting the people out into their tents.
i picked the ICs and them together with i
went for the meeting with the instructor, sree.
we spent that 3 hours listening to sree,
(sometimes he gets distracted
cos he was looking for his charger!)
and making our clan totem.
other clans decided to stick 2 poles together and call that a totem.
Quote yakin.
and for us, we strapped a garbage bag to the pole
and used masking tape to tape letters to it!
what a great totem.

then while others pitched tents
and drew maps of the area.
we made the thing.
assembled back sri pandan at 5.
FIELD COOKING!
heh! we had
sardines onions garlic rice ladyfingers and some oil.
it looked disgusting at first.
before, ziyi yuhung henry yanling and i
started going concoction-crazy.

we put onions and garlics into our rice.
garnion rice, turned out great.
we put one can of sardines into the rice.
and it was fantastic.
then we were running low on fuel
and we had ladies fingers and sardines to cook
so we lumped both together and dumped
in the rest of our onions and garlic.
guess what. it was DAMN DELICIOUS.
the instructors and teachers couldn't stop
koping from us.

after that was the nightwalk

which

turned out supremely.
boring.

wasn't scary of anything.
just dark.
and well, i guess the only things that were happy that night
were the mosquitoes.

wow. buffet served yeah (:
went back, bathed, had supper
and slept.

Day Too! (two)
This day was filled with memories.
namely, rain.
but before i come to that awefoo shit.
i will talk about.
AREA CLEANING!

well shit! we cleaned the guys toilet.
it was like. clogged alr.
so nevermind! the guys went to work
while some of the girls cleaned the basin and stood by
squealing.

ziyi and i came up with a fantastic way to unclog.
thanks to yuhung who sacrificed his feet to step into the
swimming-pool-cubicles
we unclogged one side while the instructors were bathing on the other.

well. we unclogged one side,
but where he was bathing, there was a fountain.
HILARIOUS!

after that, was breakfast.
which was great cos the food there is always great.
then we had RAFTING!

we split into 2 groups. and the other groups raft made it fine,
mine er, split twice.
but it was fun anyway.
and the river water was fantastic (:
although it looked like shit
and the mud was like. sinkable.

haha well. though my raft sank.
i felt we were more bonded together (:

Right after that, we had lunch
eat eat eat.
Change shoe.
then we went to the little house
(with lots of sandflies and mosquitoes)
to prepare for navigation.

okay. we found 2 points before we had to go back to the
sandflymosquitohouse to hide from the rain.
i played truth or dare with serene huiying xinyi mervyn
before jo-lin jiaomei and charis came to join us.
WAHAHAH! JO-LINS MONKEY DOOR DANCE.

okay. we went back to campsite.
my tent was standing but a li'l flooded.
2 out of 3 girl tents collapsed.
which was quite sad.

I ran up and down the hill getting the tents
and fixed the poles.
until i felt i was like a hill-marathon-runner.
heh. so cool.

then it was field cooking again!
where we had maggi mee,
sardines and eggs.
it was funny
cos we cooked the mee out from the seasoning.
then put 6 packets of seasoning with a little water.
haha! super salty.
then we mixed it with the egg,
before pouring it on our separated noodles and
served the sardine to each other

then we bathed
before having our leadership talk
about (celebrate whats right with the world)
hah! anyway, then it was sleepytime.

this time i slept like a log.

Today was such a great day.
Woke up to a bright, sunny morning at 11.45.
Had enough time to eat my breakfast(lunch)

before getting ready to go out.
